Marathon

This weekend I decided I'm going to do a marathon. My whole life I've said I was going to run one when I was 21. Well I was pregnant most of that year and so I decided I'm doing one this year. If I don't do it now, I probably never will. I looked up some training schedules and found a 16 week schulde that I liked...then I looked up a marathon. It must have been fate because the Utah Valley Marathon is on June 11th, exactly 16 weeks away. 26.2 miles...here I come! :)

P.S. I did my fist work out this morning as part of the training. It was only a 3 mile run and I had kind of a hard time. Haha hopefully I'll get my runner base back and can get myself back into shape in time for this thing!

Valentines

This year for Valentines Day Logan and I went to Sushi Ya, an all you can eat Sushi Resturant. It was really fun. To cut back on waste the resturant has a policy that you have to pay extra for wasted sushi. Well Logan and I put in our order (5 rolls...don't know what we were thinking) and waited, and waited, and waited. It didn't seem like this resturant was prepared for Valentines Day. I don't think they were expecting so many people. We waited for over an hour for our food and by that time we were starving! We decided that we better put in one more order right away because we didn't want to finish and then have to wait another hour for it to come out. So we ordered one more roll (we were not thinking about how much food we already had...we were just so hungry!). Well we were struggling to finish what we had ordered in the first place and I was like, "Honey I'm not going to be able to help you finish the last roll." He just looked at me and was like, "Yes you are." We were so full when it finally came out. We miserably choked it down, I thought I was going to throw up. We ended it up leaving half of it un eaten...they were so busy they didn't charge us extra...It was pretty funny though trying to finish it. We were both so miserable. I'm sushied out for awhile. I probably won't want it again until next year!

Day 30 – Something you could never get tired of doing

Kissin' this guy...

(I really hate my hair in this photo)

I love kissing Logan. I would kiss him all day if he was up for it. He doesn't love it as much. He used to...when that's all we were allowed to do. When we used to say good night he would always say, "Can I have just one more kiss?" I loved it. Now it's me begging for the kisses. I'll never stop asking though! And he's usually pretty generious with them for me!

Day 29 - Your biggest Pet Peeve

When people text while they drive. Mostly when Logan texts while he drives. I love him, and I don't want him to get in an accident and die.

Day 28 – Your favorite trip you have been on

One of my favorite trips I have ever been on...hmmm, well obveiously I love Mexico, but I've already blogged about that. I love all of our little weekend get aways to Logan's races, but I usually blog about those too...so I'm going to have to say my favorite trip I've been on wasn't actually a trip at all, but a temporary move to Orlando, Florida and then shortly after to Cedar Park, Texas and then back to Utah. It was an awesome summer...
It all started with a very, very long drive. We left Kaysville in the early evening because we were all packed up and axeious to get going. We drove straight through, or rather I should say Logan drove straight through. I drove probably 4 of the 36ish hours we were in the car and slept a good deal of the rest. This was our destination. Orlando Florida.

our apartments! It was beautiful...

So Florida was great. Logan worked everyday from noon until dark, while he was at work I spent pretty much all day every day at this pool just laying out and reading the twilight series. I got pretty tan. I did wear sun screen though I will have you know.
Well work in Florida didn't last long, the economy hit Orlando pretty hard and it seemed like the office was really struggling to get sales (Logan was working for Pinnacle Security, selling alarm systems). The Manager of his office made a decision to move the entire office to Austin, Texas, where he thought the sales would be better. So three weeks after we got to the beautiful Orlando, we packed our things and headed to Texas...but before we went we enjoyed some of what Orlando had to offer.
We have a hard time taking the picture ourselves and getting us both in it...he is just so tall...and I am just so short.

On our way out of Florida I got to go visit one of my besties, Lara. She was living in Miami Beach at the time and I hadn't seen her for awhile. We had fun just sitting on her bed talking and taking pictures.

We also got to visit a Family that Logan baptized on his mission. They moved to Florida after he came home from the Dominican Republic. I enjoyed this part of our trip so much. It was hard for me to communicate beacuse they didn't speak much english and I don't speak spanish well at all, but I could tell how much they Love Logan and it was very touching. They were so excited to see him. Staying there made me realize how very lucky I am. They had a very small one bedroom apartment, they kept their scooter (their only means of transportation) in their living room (which was also where their two daughters slept) and they had a very small kitchen and bathroom. They were so kind to us though. They insisted that we take their bedroom and the four of them slept on the floor of the living room.

Kenia cooked us a very delicious meal for dinner. It was Logan's favorite food on the mission. She made us some chicken with spices, and some rice and beans. It was simple, but it was so good. I tried to get the recepie from her but it didn't translate well...it was not too good when I tried to cook it for us a few months later.
This is a picture of me with the two daughters. I feel very proud to have this picture because they don't like to be in pictures and it took some convincing to get them to take one with me. :)
I am so glad Logan served a mission and was able to bring the Gospel into wonderful peoples lives (such as this wonderful family). I love him so much.
After visiting friends in Florida we made the drive to Texas (so much driving...I never want to drive across the country again). When we got there I fell in love with our apartement and had fun moving all our stuff in and decorating it.
I just really love my hair in this picture...oh and the boy is Ben, one of our friends out there. He came over for dinner a lot. We enjoyed his company. The Kitchen
The bathroom
Part of the bedroom
In Texas I got a job with Pinnacle as well. I became the F.O.M or the Field Office Manager. I was in charge of paperwork, dealing with corp. and sending techitions to instalation sites. I really enjoyed my job, although it was prety stressful at times. I still had a lot of time to run, swim, lay out and hang out with Logan and that was so nice. Our work schedules were the same wich was ideal. We both worked from noon until dark (I only had to stay at the office until I got done with paperwork though, because I could take calls from anywhere...so I spent a lot of time at the pool!) Our schedules were really nice because we got to spend the mornings together and then we would usually watch a movie at night. We spent a lot of time together and it was the best thing for our marraige!
During that summer we got to celebrate our One Year Anniversary. Logan bought me tickets to the musical Wicked!

I loved every minute of it. Although I do wish we had brought some binoculars (we were kinda far away)
I also got Logan a really great present...although it wasn't for our anniversary. I bought him a puppy.Meet Raja.

She was alot of fun, although I really hated house training her. Logan really loved her though and that made it worth it.
Another great part of that summer was living right next to a ton of our friends. One of Logan's best friends from High School and his wife lived right below us. Levi and Carolyn. Carolyn and I hung out almost every day and made dinner together most nights. They had a baby, Kennedy, and she was so cute. She made me want one. We hung out with them a lot and on Levi's birthday we played hookie and went and played all day! It was so fun.
Logan laughing because he beat us all at mini golf
Pretty sure he probably won this game too...

One of the most fun days of the entire summer was the 4th of July. The boys had to work a 1/2 day but afterwards we had a big BBQ at the YMCA and played in the lake. There were a bunch of blow up water toys and it was a blast.

Logan helping me up...
Both of us at the top
Logan jumped first
I got too scared to jump and ending up slipping and sliding down...it kind of hurt with all of those handles

After the BBQ we went to watch the fire works with Levi and Carolyn. I love fireworks. They are so pretty.
A few weeks after the 4th of July I started getting really tired. I was napping for hours during the day. I didn't feel like hanging out with anyone. Everytime I walked in our house I could tell immedietly if Raja had had an accident (if she had I would get really sick). Once Logan forgot to flush the toilet and when I walked into the bathroom I immedietely turned aroun and ran into the kitchen and threw up in the sink. I usually made some kind of pasta or hamburgers for dinner at night and the thought of pasta or hamburgers would make me sick to my stomach. I was in such denial, but I finally took a pregnancy test. And sure enough...I was pregnant.
The morning after we found out I was pregnant

A lot of things happend that summer and it was so much fun. We also took a really fun trip (in the middle of our move/trip) to Mexico during that summer and it was fun to see our families. In Mexico I had and accident and ended up in a Mexican emergency room getting stitches in my head. So scary.

At then end of the summer I ended getting to fly home and Logan drove home with Raja. I was still in my 1st trimester and still get pretty sick a lot of the time, so we figured it would be best if I didn't have to drive all that way. I'm so glad I didn't, although I felt bad making Logan do the drive by himself. He made it home alright though! And then we told our families were were expecting! It was all very exciting!

Day 27 – A picture of you last year and now and how have you changed since then?

One year ago I was very pregnant
My feet were 2 sizes bigger than they normally are
I was 40 pounds heavier than I normally am
I wore a pearl instead of my diamond on my left hand (my diamond didn't fit my swollen fingers)
I had blonde hair
I was working at Supercuts 40 hours a week
I was getting very excited to be a mother
and P.S. My boobes were HUGE ...

Now I am very not pregnant
I once again wear a 6 1/2 size shoe
I am back down to 125 (although I would be happy to get that last 20 off)
I am wearing my wedding ring. Love my diamond
I have brown hair
I am working at Olde Mill Salon about 20 hours a week and lovin' it
I love being a mother
and I wear a 34-A bra...at least one thing is back to normal haha

Day 26 – A photo of somewhere you’ve been to

This past weekend we went to Mequite for Logan's first ever race as an expert! (He moved up a class from last season). It was a beautiful weekend there. It was so warm and Sunny! I loved it!
This is one of Logan coming off the last jump in the race! Look at his air. Wish I had been closer to get a better shot.
He had just finished the race. He took 3rd in his class and 19th overall. Not bad...not bad at all!
Autumn had fun. She loved the sunshine and was all smiles. Everytime a motorcycle went by she would go da da da da! She loves her Da-da.

It was so warm we even went swimming...not. We wanted to go swimming but the water was like ice. The hot tub wasn't much better...so we just layed out in the sunshine. Oh how I've missed that beautiful sun.
Me and my Baby Girl
Twiners! I love her glasses on her. Only she has finally figured out how to pull them off...notice how I'm holding her hands down for the picture.
Soakin' up some rays

She spilled her snacks all over the ground...I'm such a good mom I just let her crawl around and eat them anyway.
