Marshmello Matey

Last night we went to Kaysvilles Christmas Lights Parade...only we were 1/2 hour late and missed all but the last display. But we still had a good time drinking hot chocolate and listening to the Christmas music being played by a live band in front of the City Hall. Autumn was in her brandnew snow suit from her Grandma Joy and Grandpa Kevin. She looked like a puffy pink marshmello! She is the cutest thing I have ever seen in my life. I love her chubby cheeks and her huge brown eyes. She is such a beautiful girl and I'm so glad I get to be her mom.
I know she looks like she has a mouth full of teeth in this picture...but it's really the back of her tounge. No teeth yet.

On Thanksgiving day we went to my Parents house for our Thanksgiving Feast. I always love going to their house for the Holiday's because my Mom knows how to make them the best. She goes all out on everything. I love it. She always decorates beautifuly and cooks great food. We had a great feast and have fun speding time with my brothers and sisters and niece and nephews, My Mom and Dad, and my Grandma Simmons. It was delicious!

It seems like Autumn wasn't sure about the Bunny Ears either
Hannah had a nice napkin to make sure her pretty blue shirt didn't get dirty.
Autumn tried her very first pickle...she really liked it
Cousins: Lexi and Autumn, they love eachother
After our lovely dinner and a game of Settlers wich Logan dominated we went to Mike and DeAnn's to wish them a Happy Thanksgiving and let them see Autumn for a little bit. I love how much the adore her. She is so loved by all of our familes.
After we left Mikes we went home. We still live with Logan's Mom and Step Dad in their basement. His family Thanksgiving was at their house this year, so his Gradmas and Aunts, Uncles and Cousins were all there doing a fun Thanksgving/Christmas Craft Joy found. We jumped right in and did a few of the craft as well. We made really cute Christmas plates, with clear plates+Christmas fabric+Mod Podge. I'll post pictures of them later. They Turned out really cute, I think I'll make more of them this week. Thanksgiving was great! I really love my family.
The Sunday after Thanksgiving we took some pictures in the snow...Autumn loves the snow. She looks up and opens her mouth wide, it's like she is trying to catch it in there already. It's so cute.

Beck and Autumn

I have a really great friend from Hair School named Britney. She had a baby about a 2 months before I had Autumn. We've loved being new mothers together and sharing fun stories about our kids and just hanging out. Her son Beck is so cute and we have so much fun watching him and Autumn play together. We just had a Play Date!

Beck and Autumn in front of the Christmas tree...1st Christmas for both

Autumn has been trying so hard to crawl, she's almost got it.

Just two best friends...and two best kids!

Brit is such a fun mom, she plays with Beck and Autumn and makes Autumn laugh so hard. Beck won't laugh though, he just holds it in and turns red.

Look at those huge eyes!

Autumn had so much fun being pushed around in the Laundry basket

What a cutie Face
She is such and angel with sweet potatoes on her cute little face!

Nutcracker Christmas

Thursday night we had a girls night! It was much needed since Brooke just sent Cody off on his mission and Mary is missing Aaron and Kevin is out of town and...well I got to go home to my man, but everyone else needed it! It was so fun, we went shopping and shopped and shopped and shopped till we dropped. The we went to dinner at the Pizza Factory and then we went to the Clytie Adams Nutcracker. It was beautiful this year. Of course I always think it is beautiful, but this year it was just perfect. None of the dances were too long, the ballet was absolutely outstanding and we didn't even think about leaving early (like we usually do). It was the best ballet I've ever been to. I loved it. While watching the begining scene where they are having their Christmas party I was thinking of how fun it would be to throw a Christmas party like that! A Nutcracker theme, whre everyone dressed up fancey and we had a big dinner and danced and had a jolly good time. Every year we throw an Ugly Christmas Sweater party, which is so much fun, but maybe someday when we have our own house with a little more space I'll throw a Nutcracker Christmas Party. It will be lovely.

Canyon Night

We went up Farmington Canyon with some friends to have dinner and a good ole time. We made hobo dinners. The problem with hobo dinners is that you need a fire to make them cook. Well, Logan's not what I would call a good scout. We had a hard time getting the fire going and that's with the help of gas. We finally got things going and we talked about life, friends, and movies. Logan wants to watch rated R movies and I don't want to let him! When it was time to go we poured our left over water on the fire; Thom grabbed the water bottle that was full of gas, thinking it was water, and dumped it on the fire. As you can guess, flames exploded into the air and went higher than I am tall. It was a little scary but funny as I look back.

Autumn on the drive up

Our Veiw on the drive up.
This picture reminds me of Halloween! It's really beautiful though
Just a bunch of frined having a good old time!

Toy Box Treasures

Last week Grandma Joy and Grandpa Kevin came home with a huge box of toys! (The samples for this years toy's for the TacoTime kid's meals). Autumn and I played with them for an hour at least and then Logan came home and we played even more! It was so much fun. I loved it, it made me feel like a kid again. I remeber in 9th grade one of my best friends, Mandy Madson, gave me a big box of toys for Christmas, it was the best! Toys are so fun!

this is not even half the toys...by this time they were all over the floor as well

she's a cute little fire woman!

This little football is her favorite toy

She looks pretty good with those goo goo eys on!

We are a goo goo eye family!

SPOOKY! BOO! Halloween!

This year was Autumn's FIRST HALLOWEEN! We had a fun time celebrating all week long! First of all we had a fun ward Family Home Evening halloween party.

Autumn and Daddy(Logan came from school, hence the lack of costume)

The Purple Witch and Pumpkin Fairy!

We met Dumbledore (Jaxson) and the Mad Hatter (someone in the ward)!

Dumbledore, Pumkin Fariy and Grandma Witch

The Spooky Grandma Witch (Joy)!
On Friday night we went to a really fun Spooktacular block party at my sister Rachael's house
My little pumpkin fairy with her Grandma Simmons. My mom is so beautiful!
The Purple Witch and Jessie the Cowgirl(Little sister Sara)!
The creepy Clown (Logan) this clown scared all of the kids at the block party. One little boy was pulling my neice Lexi in a wagon and when he saw the scary clown he stopped dead in his tracks and the wagon plowed right into him. I felt so bad. Haha but it was a little funny. The only kid who wasn't scared of this clown was Our little pumkin. She just laughed everytime she looked at him and kept trying to wipe off his make up when he held her. She wasn't fooled, she knew it was her daddy underneath!
Creepy Clown, Pumpkin Fairy and Purple Witch FAMILY!
After the block party we went to a friend paty and my good friend Cait Renshaw Peirce's house. We hung out with friends and played a lot of bingo! It was a lot of fun. Logan won bingo and black out and got some teeth gummies and some skeleton suckers! My husband is awesome!

Our little pumkin was getting sleepy

I never thought I'd be in love with a clown...usually they creep me out, but I totally wanted to kiss this one.
Tessa the butterfly, Cait the Bumble Bee and Me
On Saturday Logan had a race up Springville Canyon. So we spent most of the day there. It was great weather all day so Autumn had a great time hanging out. Logan had a few bike malfunctions (What's new??) but he did pretty well I thought. When we got home that evening it was raining so we decided not to go out trick or treating around the neighborhood. Instead we visited my Grandma and Grandpa Clawson and showed them Autumn in her cute costume. They gave us candy and visited with us. Then we went home and crashed....we were so tired. It was a fun but LONG weekend! Hope everyone had a Happy Halloween!
