Thanksgiving

We had a fun Thanksgiving this year. Logan, Autumn and I had dinner at my parents house and it was delicious and gorgeous! Thanks mom for always going ALL OUT for the Holidays! Logan and I were the only ones that came home for Thanksgiving this year. Becca and Jake went to Jake's Families house, Rachael and Brett were in Italy for their 8 year Anniversary (No fair, Right?) but their kids were there. Julie and Seth were in California and James is on his mission in Texas. So almost half of the family was missing this year. It made for a very quiet Thanksgiving. Well, quiet for my family anyway :) It was nice how relaxed everything was, but I missed having everyone home. Especially Juli, I can't remember when the last Thanksgiving I got to have with her was :( boo miss you Juli.

My Mom and Dad made the Turkey just how I like it. Soaked and Slow cooked in Apple Juice. It makes for a very tender and sweet bird. Mmmm Mmm good! And of course all the other good stuff was there too. I am proud to say that for once I did NOT over eat! go me! I didn't even have Pie. Crazy right? Well after dinner at my parents we headed back to Kaysville for craft time at Logan's moms. :) I love the Christmas craft after dinner tradition they have. It is so fun. I was in charge of the craft this year and we made these lovely wreaths out of Christmas Ornaments! Aren't they so much fun? I just love them. I love Brooke's the most. It turned out SOOOO cute! way to go Brooke.

This one is Brooke's dot' you love the Owl? so cute right?

I made the other two. I should have taken pictures of all the wreath that everyone made, but I didn't take pictures till almost everyone had left. Oh well.

Well another Thanksgiving come and gone, way too fast. But I loved it.

So now we go onto the Day after Thanksgiving...BLACK FRIDAY!!!
Logan and I decided to try black Friday out this year. Our original plan was to stand in line at WalMart and get a TV. But Logan got a little excited and ordered one from Target like 2 days before...it was a pretty good deal. We're excited for it to get here. It turned out to be pretty nice that we didn't have to wait in the freezing cold weather for hours. Instead we went to the mall at Midnight with his family to people watch! People are crazy. It was fun. Joy Brooke and I found some cute stuff at Wet Seal, although their black friday deals were not to die for. We all got a free watch out of it too which I am excited about! Thanks Joy!

Friday night we went to Temple Square to see the lights with Colby and Emily. We had a nice time. But it was really cold. Man I do not like being cold. Autumn sure looked cute in her puffy coat and mittens.

Just a little bit of my Favorite thing...

The other morning I heard Autumn calling for me from her crib! I jumped out of bed and went in to get her. She greeted me with the biggest smile you've ever seen, and when I picked her up she wrapped her chubby hands around my neck and gave me a huge hug. She even laid her head on my shoulder. I love little moments like that.  It was just one of those little moments in my life where I feel pure and true love. She is the most amazing little thing. I love having her every single day!

She is now over one and a half years old and I can't believe how fast she is learning and changing. It's so sad, and so beautiful at the same time. She can say almost every word now, she copies me constantly (I have to be careful not to say any "bad" words because she'll say them too). Her newest word choice is "Boogie" she says this when we blow her nose and then she does and exaggerated "Ewwwwwwww gross mom" then we throw it away and she say's "Bye bye boogie" cutest thing in the world.

Grandma and Grandpa Gingrich recently got a new puppy, A golden retriever named Mazy. She loves her! She lets her lick her face and chase her around and she talks about her constantly. Sometimes when she is in her room playing with her stuffed animals and toys I hear her saying Mazy over and over again. I love that she is already using her imagination to play!

Her favorite pass-time is playing with magnets! yep, it true. she will literally play with magnets for over an hour while I clean or do whatever really. I'll have to find her some really cute fun ones for Christmas!

She loves her Daddy, to laugh, ring around the rosies, bubbles, Mickey Mouse, oranges and bananas, music, pictures of the temple and Jesus, hats, boots, her binki and her family. She loves saying everyone that she knows name over and over. She lists them of for me daily it goes something like this...

Daddy
Mommy
Mamma
Papa
Danny
Hannah
Brookie
Aaron
Jaxson
Steven
Johnny
Derrick
Emily
Colby
Kitty

Sometimes there are others too, but these ones usually make the daily list. We sure love our little chubbers! Ah she is so dang cute!

Bumble Bee

Autumn LOVED Halloween this year. She learned all sorts of Halloween words including:
Pumpkin
Ghost
Scary
Kitty
Witch
Trick or Treat
and Happy Halloween

She loved her costume and wore it the whole day on Halloween! We took her trick or treating to a few houses in our neighborhood and she had a blast. She loved all of the carved pumpkins on the door steps and really enjoyed choosing candy out. She would say Happy Halloween as we left. It was adorable. But she loved handing out candy even more than trick or treating herself. She would get so excited everytime the doorbell rang. She would start running around in circles laughing and say "Treat! Treat!" Then I would let her put a treat in each persons bag. There was one kid that had his face painted pretty scary and she wouldn't give him a candy she looked at him and said "Scary." When I told her to give him a treat she put her pointer finger up and said "No! Scary Mom." So I gave him one. But it was so cute all the same. We ended up running out of candy and had to give out all the candy she got trick or treating, but she didn't seem to mind. She didn't need to eat all of that anyway, she was sugared out by the end of the night.

P.s. Autumn thinks that Please means candy because I always make her say please before I give her one.
