Nixon's Birthday...Really Late

I seriously did a terrible job of getting pictures of the birthday boy on his Birthday. Oops. We had a pool party because Nixon loves water so much! Bath and pool are big time favorites! A bunch of the cousins came and he had a big blue frosting cake. He wasn't sure he loved it.

Sara's Wedding

 

 This pretty little lady got hitched this weekend. It was so fun to have the whole family there. Sara and Tyson were married in the Brigham City temple on June 28. After the temple and pictures we all went to Tyson's parents house for a luncheon that was delicious. Then later that evening their reception was at my parents house in American Fork. All of the decorations and everything turned out so dang cute! I loved it! My mother is so very talented at weddings! (After marrying off 5 of her daughters she's got the hang of it!) Here are some pictures of the fun day.

Oh and speaking of weddings....

 

This little cutey is only three years old and was begging me to let her try on my wedding dress. When she had it on she looked in my mirror and said, "I wish it was my wedding day" She's been loving all the weddings going on lately and is dreaming of the day she can get married in a beautiful temple/castle and wear a beautiful wedding/princess dress. I ask her if she is going to marry her Daddy, and she says, "No mom, you get to marry daddy, in the temple!" It's so adorable.

Seriously? Isn't he the cutest? 

 I honestly cannot express how much I love this boy. He is the sweetest little smilin' thing I ever did see. I'm so happy he's here and in our family. This boy smiles from the minute he wakes up, till we put him to bed at night. He goes right to bed by himself too. All we have to do is put him in there and he rolls onto his side and pulls his blanket up to his face and goes to sleep. There is nothing I love more than seeing that sweet little babe sleeping. He is just so perfect! When I look at him my heart sometimes feels like it's just going to burst. I cannot believe how much love I feel for my sweet children. I never thought it was possible. After I had Autumn I felt bad for my next child, whomever it was going to be, because I knew there was just no way in the world I could ever love another human being as much as I loved her. And then I held this little man in my arms for the first time and my heart grew. I love him just as much.

He's now 8 months old, he sits up and rolls ever okay. He's kind of lazy when it comes to the development stuff, he just doesn't seem all that interested in moving around, which I am Fine with. I don't have the energy to be chasing him anyway. This week he finally went from sitting to and craw position but then he just starts to cry because he can't make it back to sitting and doesn't know what to do. It's pretty adorable. This week is the first time since his colic stage that he's been kind of cranky. He is teething. The dreaded teething process. I feel so bad for him. I can tell he is miserable. 

 Today he got his first hair cut. He smiled the WHOLE time. He wasn't even scared of the clippers. Made me so proud. He got a matching hair cut just like Daddy. Two most handsome men in the world.

 Look at those eyes. He has my heart. I just want to squeeze him. 

Autumn's Birthday

Autumn is one lucky little lady. Grandma Joy and Mom took her to Disneyland for her 3rd birthday. And boy did she LOVE it! She is such a princess, so Disneyland was the place to be! She loved meeting Pluto most, which surprised me because I didn't even know she liked him. She ran right up to him right when we got into the park, cut the line and everything. I didn't even know what had happened. Everyone was really nice about it though and he even took his picture with her. Later we went back and stood in line to get his autograph and another picture. That was pretty much all Autumn wanted to do all three days we were there, meet characters! Well, that and ride The Little Mermaid ride, which we rode eight times in a row one of the nights we were there. They should have just let us stay on the ride, we just kept getting right back on over and over again. Autumn LOVED it! 

On our last day there Autumn's cousins Lincoln and Lilly came and hung out with us. It was fun to see them. It was Lincoln's birthday that day and he had fun riding the big roller coaster in Cars Land. 

Basically everyday since this trip Autumn has asked to go back. She say something like, "Mom we need to go to Disneyland so I can see Jasmine and take a picture with her." I tell her it's too far away and that we have to ride an airplane to get there. She just says, "Yes, lets get on the airplane and go to Disneyland." I tell her we can't today because it costs too much money so she says, "I got money." Then she goes to get her piggy bank out of her room....can you say adorable? We'll have to go again soon while she still thinks that those characters are the REAL THING! It really was magical for her. I loved it so much! The only thing that could have made it more fun would have been Dad going with us.

Happy Birthday Autumn. We sure love you, even though you have one sassy little attitude and pee your pants a lot. You're the cutest, funniest little girl we know. You make us smile everyday and we can't imagine our family without you in it. Some of your favorite things right now are:

 Autumn's Favorite princess is Cinderella! So this is the Cake Grandma Joy and I made for her birthday party. She just loved it. She was so excited when she saw it.
